’76, Historical Romance Movie Comes on DStvBoxOffice this February

The critically acclaimed movie, ’76, starring talented actors; Ramsey Nouah, Rita Dominic, IbinaboFiberesima, ChidiMokeme and Daniel K. Daniel, will be available for rent on DStvBoxOffice from 13 February for only N400.

The movie is set against the backdrop of the attempted coup of 1976 and the assassination of Head of State Murtala Mohammed, but the drama chronicles the lives of a young officer, Dewa (Ramsey Nouah) and his pregnant wife, Suzy (Rita Dominic) who are reluctantly caught up in events that rocked the whole country.

The historical romance thriller speaks to the Nigerian experience, while exploring the themes of romance, inter-tribal marriage, betrayal and the triumph of love through it all.

The movie produced by IzuOjukwu and AdonaijaOwiriwa and directed by IzuOjukwu, has earned 14 nominations at the 2017 edition of the prestigious AfricaMagic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA).
