The next edition of the popular TV magazine of the Cable News Network (CNN), African Voices, will be celebrating two female achievers from Nigeria and South Africa.

One of the two achievers is Nigeria’s television mogul, Mosunmola Abudu, popularly called Mo Abudu. The programme is sponsored by grand masters of data, Globacom.

Mo Abudu earned national recognition with her programme, Moments With Mo,  and went on to found a Television station that has been described as Africa's first Global Black Multi-Broadcast Entertainment Network. Forbes magazine describes Mo as one of Africa's most successful women.

CNN African Voices will also feature Siba Mtongana, a South African celebrity chef and host of the Food Network show “Siba's Table”. She is currently a judge on “Chopped South Africa”, a hugely popular cooking competition in South Africa.

Mo and Siba were described as successful women driven by “perseverance, passion, and positivity”. CNN said Mo Abudu would take viewers “behind the scenes of her empire to see how she creates content that has audiences in Africa and abroad clamouring for more”.

“Then, we take a peek into the world of South Africa’s biggest celebrity chef and see how she uses her childhood memories of food and South Africa as an inspiration for her recipes”, CNN stated.
