The new episode titled Be My Val shows on NTA Network, NTA International on DSTV Channel 251 and NTA on StarTimes at 8.30 p.m. on Tuesday, which is Valentine's day and promises to give viewers a lot to earn and to laugh about.
The episode, which will be repeated at the same time, same stations on Friday, seeks to get viewers to show uncommon love to relations, friends, and acquaintances on St Valentine's day.
In a statement released on Monday, Globacom said that Be My Val promises to be captivating for its millions of viewers in Nigeria and across the world as it treats a western social event that has now become cultural also in Nigeria.
According to Globacom "the episode as well as the new season of the sitcom would as usual blend comedy with satire to highlight critical moral messages that would help in reshaping people's attitude".
In the new episode, Professor Johnbull tries to examine the concept of true love. For example, he examines the fortunes of the less privileged, the orphans and the abandoned ones on Valentine's Day
The episode spurns and answers many questions such as: is Valentine's Day a day to con others in the name of love? Should love be celebrated only on one day in a year? Should love be mutual, sacrificial or be based on what one can gain from the other party? What are the gimmicks ladies play on Valentine Day?
The company believes that season 3 of professor Johnbull will up the ante in an interesting comic satire that has become a staple in many homes, bringing back the fun, laughter and learning to family TV time. The show, which has been running since late 2016 shall be even more exciting in 2017.
