Oradian Among Top Contenders for European FinTech Awards 2017

Oradian, the fintech start-up behind multi award-winning cloud banking software for the microfinance industry, has been re-nominated to win the European FinTech Awards 2017.

Oradian is currently serving over 30 microfinance institutions in five countries, including Nigeria.

The Croatian-based is a global leader that is bringing best practice to microfinance institutions around the world.

By enabling microfinance institutions to grow, they can bring financial services to more unbanked clients.

The award recognises fintech companies based on their power to change their industries, the way they deliver their solutions and their traction in the market. Oradian is one of the leading nominees for the European FinTech Awards:

Commenting on the award nomination, Antonio Separovic Oradian’s managing director, told Nigeria CommunicationsWeek that, “It’s an honour to be nominated for this award again. It’s a reflection of our hard work and really of our customers’ successes”.

Often times, Microfinance institutions (MFIs), microfinance banks (MFBs) cooperatives (coops), village savings and loan groups operate in some of the most difficult environments: political instability, lack of infrastructure, unstable currencies and weak internet connections.

Oradian is setting the foundation for financial inclusion by delivering a digital MIS that is designed to overcome the unique challenges of the microfinance industry.

Also commenting on the nomination, Onyeka Adibeli, Oradian’s head of Implementation said, “We developed our cloud software side-by-side with our customers. We know what makes their lives difficult and how we can use our technology to make it easier.”

According to the Award organisers, "Many of these promising startups have seen tremendous growth since the last award. Many more FinTech companies have been nominated for this year’s European FinTech Awards and they need your support again.
