SystemSpecs Clinches Software Company of the Year Award

 SystemSpecs has won the Software Company of the Year award at the recently held National Information Technology Merit Awards (NITMA) organized by the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS).
John Obaro, managing director of SystemSpecs received the award on behalf of the company at a well attended ceremony in Lagos.
 “We are humbled by this recognition especially when it is coming from your industry and colleagues, it certainly says alot. SystemSpecs would continue to put its best foot forward at all times. We will also continue to strive for excellence in all that we do to protect the integrity of the award and the industry. We thank the NCS for this honour,” Obaro said.
Some of the distinguished guests present at the ceremony were; Mrs. Ibukun Odusote, permanent secretary Federal Ministry of Science and Technology; Prof. Cleopas Angaye, director general of National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA); Mr. Ibrahim Tihze, president of Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria; Prof Charles Uwadia, President of Nigeria Computer Society (NCS); Dr. Chris Uwaje, president, Institute of Software Practitioners of Nigeria (ISPON); Dr. Jimson Olufuye, president, Information Technology Association of Nigeria (ITAN); Mr. Don Etiebet, former minister of Petroleum Resources, past president of NCS and chairman, National Information Technology Merit Awards (NITMA), Panel of Judges, amongst others.
NITMA is an award designed by NCS to acknowledge, celebrate and reward outstanding corporate organizations and individuals in Nigeria who have played major roles in the development and growth of Information Technology.
