Segun Ogunsanya, managing director and chief executive officer, Airtel Nigeria, has emerged the ‘Telecom CEO of The Year’ at the Nigerian Telecoms Award 2014 at the weekend.
Ogunsanya was one of the CEOs nominated in the award category of this year’s Nigerian Telecom Awards which is the 10th edition.
At the event, Airtel Nigeria also won award as the ‘Most Customer Friendly Network.’
The 2014 Nigerian Telecoms Award night was graced by prominent individuals such as Chief Alex Akinyele former minister of Sports; Otunba Gbenga Daniel, former Ogun State governor; Hon. Lola Edewor; executive director, Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), among other notable personalities.
