Successful and serial entrepreneurs were at Success Stories Africa held in Lagos recently to empower young Nigerians to take responsibility for the future.

Speakers and panelists who revealed their inspiring stories at the gathering include Monalisa Chinda, an award-winning Actress; Chude Jideonwo, CEO, Red Media Africa; Ayeni Adekunle CEO, BHM Group; Detoun Ogwo, CEO, SkillsDevt; and Japheth Omojuwa, Founder Omojuwa.com.

Other are, Segun Odubela, Ogun State Commissioner for Education; Yemi Akamo, Curator, TEDxGbagada; GaiseBaba, Afro-fusion artist and Sisi Yemmie, Vlogger, among others.

The destiny-shaping event which held at Foursquare Auditorium, Crossing Agbado, Lagos also featured free practical training sessions in different crafts facilitated by Rhoda Michaels [CEO, Rhoda Michaels Fashion Academy], African Farmer Mogaji [Agricultural consultant/Ashoka Fellow], Fola Folayan [Broadcaster, Nigeria Info FM] and Vanessa Odofin [CEO, Vanadale Makeovers].

According to Oladebo Temitayo, a participant, “I can’t thank Success Stories Africa enough for the life-changing scholarship granted me after today’s training session. I have never been so challenged all my life!”

“I had tear-glazed eyes listening to the speakers. You’ve sown a seed.” Temitope Ola-Sunmonu, another participant, tweeted Speaking after the successful event, the Founder, Isaac Oladipupo, stated that "Success Stories Africa is aimed at increasing the number of empowered youths above the weaklings and we are committed to mobilizing it to several communities across the continent."
