Academix.ng Partners Intellect Books UK On Journal Hosting

Academix.ng, Nigeria’s first indigenous digital library has partnered with United Kingdom (U.K.) based Intellect Books to host abstracts of Journal of African Media Studies and Journal of African Cinemas.

Speaking on the partnership, Mr. Iso Bassey, founder/CEO of www.academix.ng expressed delight at the partnership.

The Journal of African Media Studies (JAMS) is an interdisciplinary journal that provides a forum for debate on the historical and contemporary aspects of media and communication in Africa.

The Journal of African Cinemas explores the interactions of visual and verbal narratives in African film.

Both journals are peer reviewed and edited by Dr. Winston Mano of University of Westminster and Dr. Keyan Tomaselli of University of KwaZulu-Natal respectively. Through this partnership abstract of all issues of both journals are now featured on www.academix.ng.

Intellect is a UK based independent academic publisher in the fields of creative practice and popular culture, publishing scholarly books and journals that portray original thinking.

Academix.ng aggregates and hosts multidisciplinary, Africa focused research. It features journals, research papers, theses, dissertations and reports.

The portal currently has over 4,900 research items and offers subscriptions to individuals and organisations.
