The Bosch Group, a leading global supplier of technology and services represented in 150 countries, has disclosed intention to increase its business in Nigeria.
The Group which has been active in Nigeria for more than 80 years via distributors and agents, said that in new investment drive will enable it provide significant value-add to the Nigerian economy and population.
According to Ofori Benjamin Kweku, the regional sales director, “Bosch now intends to increase its business in the country and also provide significant value-add to the Nigerian economy and population: By being instrumental in building an automotive industry, providing machinery for modern food and pharmaceutical industries as well as security and thermo technology systems through to, e. g., specifying hydraulic applications (for mining industry, oil platforms, automotive assembly plants or other).
“Effective 01 January 2016, Bosch PT has founded their own CSO, located in Lagos, Nigeria, in order to strengthen our presence on the ground.
He said that the new plans would strongly underline the importance of collaboration between German and Nigerian companies and economies to foster strong relationships for a bright future to the benefit of all parties involved.
