The Glo blockbuster concert, the Glo Campus Storm, will this Friday, December 2, storm Ebonyi State University (EBSU) Abakaliki, where students, members of the academic community and residents of the city will enjoy an evening of total entertainment, courtesy of the next generation network, Globacom.

The wave making concert which was held at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka last week has so far been staged in 7 campuses including the University of Port Harcourt where the show kicked off on October 7, Enugu campus of University of Nigeria; Federal Polytechnic, Nekede; University of Uyo, University of Nigeria, Nsukka; and Abia State University, Uturu where they were thoroughly entertained by top Nigerian artistes.

Abakaliki is already agog with excitement as students and residents are already gearing up for the event which will involve music from top Nigerian artistes, beauty pageant, dancing and singing competition and performance of up and coming artistes.

Top chart-topping musicians including Korede Bello, Reekado Banks and Runtown as well as DJ Neptune will entertain the crowd while ace comedian, Bovi, will anchor the show.

The concert will also feature a competition to determine the “Glo Campus Data Diva” and “Glo Campus Data Dude”, and ten winners will emerge from EBSU.

“10 winners in each campus will receive up to N100,000 each, with all the 240 winners vying for the “Glo Campus Data Dude” and “Glo Campus Data Diva” coveted crowns at the grand finale. The two top winners in each category (male and female) will each win N1 million in scholarships in addition to being signed on as Globacom Brand Ambassadors. They will also get special invitations to all Globacom-organized events and shows such as the Glo-CAF Awards, Glo Laffta Fest and Glo Slide 'n' Bounce concerts", Globacom explained.

Globacom advised students wishing to attend the concert to recharge their Glo lines with N500 campus data plan and they be automatically admitted into the venue for a night of endless entertainment.
