Timaya Headlines Legend Real Deal Experience In Enugu

Valentine’s Day in Enugu was all shades of fun and excitement as popular dancehall and afro hip pop singer, Timaya joined Legend Extra Stout for its flagship consumer engagement event, ‘Real Deal Experience’.

The event being the first Real Deal Experience in 2019 made this edition a memorable one.

Legend Real Deal Experience which is a nationwide brand engagement exercise featured comedy, games and energetic performance from some of Nigeria’s biggest music stars.

The multi-layered stream of experiential activities was designed to attract, reward and engage Stout drinkers like never before.

The platform is also aimed at bringing the brand closer to the grassroot fans. This practice took the headline act to perform in the city in which they have a massive base of loyal followers thereby creating an avenue for fans in the local community to connect with their favorite entertainers.

According to Sarah Agha, Portfolio Manager – National Premium Brands NB Plc, “2018 was a fantastic year, but the 2019 edition of Real Deal Experience promises to be bigger and who is better to headline the first show than the incredible Timaya himself.

Timaya who recently released a 14- track album titled ‘Upgrade’ brought all his magic to the Real Deal experience stage.

A visibly excited Timaya while commenting on his forthcoming performance said, “I was turned up for this show. Enugu is a very lively city with a unique energy and drive and I was excited to meet up with my fans at the Real Deal Experience.

“Knowing the folks at Legend Extra Stout and how much passion they put into organizing the events, the Valentine edition was better than the last one. Trust me, I definitely made it count for my fans in Enugu.”

Timaya is considered as one of the most consistent Nigerian artistes today. His consistency has continued to push him beyond the boundaries of Nigeria.

The show was hosted by comedian De Don and former BBNaija contestant, Ifu Ennada, both of whom brought their A-game.

One of the major highlights were the interesting and engaging couple games which saw lucky couples go home with amazing prizes like refrigerators, generators and flat screen TVs.

The biggest winners of the night were Mr and Mrs Mba Maduabuchi who won an all expense paid dinner for two at the Octopus restaurant in Enugu courtesy of Legend Extra Stout.

Also for the first time at the Real Deal experience show, there was a Legend taste experience lounge which offered cocktail mixes. Consumers were able to mix their favorite stout brand with other amazing brands.
