Access the Stars Moves to Onitsha

STAR Lager and Access Bank Plc’s massive collaboration on the music reality show is set to continue in the bustling city of Onitsha this coming week.

Onitsha city has served as home to the likes of remarkable singers such as; Bright Chimezie and Dr. Oliver De Coque and many more legends in the music industry.

With the upcoming auditions at the Dolly Hills Hotel which is set to hold on the 19th and 20th of December, the judges anticipate to find the kind of talents that match the lofty heights and remarkable singing prowess of these music legends.

At the round of auditions, contestants will be screened by top celebrity judges – Kaffy, Seyi Shay and Ty Mix who have traveled together to major cities across the country in search of the next big star.

Speaking to the press on the high expectations from the city, Brand Manager, STAR Lager, Onyebuchi Nwangwu remarked – “This city is renowned for its great people who have great tenacity and an unrivalled desire to succeed. We hope to see this desire when these talents come to impress the Judges. We are truly excited to see some amazing talents.”

The Group Head, Corporate Communications for Access Bank, Amaechi Okobi also expressed his delight at being able to take the music reality show to the city of Onitsha. While speaking to the press, he stated – “We believe Nigeria is blessed with amazing singers and we’ve been pleasantly surprised at the level of talent we have witnessed in Lagos, Abeokuta and Abuja. We trust that Onitsha will continue in this trend and we look forward to an amazing outing in the city.”

To wrap up the Onitsha edition of the show, music lovers will be treated to a concert like never before when the likes of Kcee and Obiligbo Brothers grace the stage.

Indigenous rapper, Zlatan will also make an appearance to follow-up his extraordinary performance at the Abuja concert which will hold at Shoprite Onitsha Mall on December 22, 2019.

Selected participants at the auditions will be shortlisted to compete at the grand finale, set to hold in Lagos in January, where the winner will walk home with up to 150 million Naira in cash and prizes. The show will air on lifestyle and entertainment channels such as Africa Magic, Views Channel and Hip Tv as well as others.
