According to him, ‘We are considering convenience, cost effectiveness and durability in delivering these products; there is no health risk associated with them and they do not require any advanced technological know-how to be operated, all you need is just wind the handle and there is power.’
‘We at Zinox see it as our primary duty to bring in new technologies that would improve the quality of life of Nigerians at zero maintenance cost’, said Echika Ezuka, the company’s head of corporate affairs. ‘By purchasing the freeplay products, people would be saving themselves from the problem of unnecessary expenditure on energy and these products reduce the total cost of surviving in a demanding economy like Nigeria where constant power outage has become a major challenge.’
Zinox has also said that it will donate some of the Indigo lanterns to the Police, so as to support them in the fight against crime in the society.
