Agu Resumes As Managing Director of ActivEdge Technologies

George Agu has resumed as the chief executive officer of ActivEdge Technologies Limited, a Pan African Information Technology Company, focused in development, Integration and Support of a wide range of Strategic and Transformational IT Solution for the Public and Private Sector. ActivEdge Technologies has active presence in Kenya, Zimbabwe and South Africa prior to its recent incorporation in
Nigeria.
Prior to founding ActivEdge Technologies in Nigeria in consistence with its other foreign operations, George has been the Managing Director of Neptune Software in the West African where he achieved remarkable success in over 2 years. He brings to the company a wealth of experience in Information Technology, and strategic management that cuts across many countries in Africa where he has played key roles in the industry for several years in Software development, Software implementation, Business Development and Executive Management.
He was once the business development director of Neptune and in this role, he severally operated from Kenya, South Africa and Zimbabwe over a period of six years. He had a short stint with Union Systems Limited, then sole agent of MISYS (Ireland) in Nigeria.
George Studied Computer Science and Statistics at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and has since advanced his academic career with certifications in Information Systems auditing, Information Security Management, Project Management and Organization leadership.
In his professional career, George has led many profit and not-for-profit organizations in the last ten years both under formal employment and on freelance basis across many countries in Africa.
