Airtel Nigeria, has been adjudged the ‘Most Outstanding Customer-Centric Telecoms Brand of the Year’ at the Marketing Edge 2016 Brands & Advertising Excellence Award & Annual Summit.
Enitan Denloye, vice president, Brands & Advertising, Airtel Nigeria, received the award on behalf of Mr. Segun Ogunsanya, company’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
The award was presented by Dr. Niran Malaolu, chief executive officer, Rockcity FM.
While reciting the citation, the organisers commended Airtel’s consistency in delivery exceptional customer service experience to Nigerians. The company’s citation highlighted its persistence in exciting customers with world-class services. It also noted Airtel’s commitment to remain the most loved brand in the daily lives of Nigerians.
Themed ‘Brand Building in a Digital Age: Challenges in a Developing Market,’ the event held at Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos with notable individuals such as Nigeria’s advertising titan, Ted Mukoro; Sir Steve Omojafor; former Chairman of APCON, Chris Doghuje, veteran marketer and current non-executive Director at Nigerian Bottling Company, Laolu Akinkugbe among others in attendance.
