Airtel, leading telecommunication service provider in 20 countries across the globe has unveiled its flagship service-Prmier to the Nigerian customers.

Airtel also welcomed Ray Parlour, Arsenal legend and former England international and Terence James "Jim" O'Neill, foremost British Economist and honourary Professor of Economics at the University of Manchester, who is best known for coining BRIC, the acronym that stands for Brazil, Russia, India and China at the exclusive event for distinguished personalities.

Speaking at the event, Segun Ogunsanya, managing director & chief executive officer of Airtel Nigeria, stated that the company is committed to creating opportunities that will offer platforms for reasoned discourse and set the tone for the continuous growth and development of the Nigerian economy.

He added that rewards and recognition is Airtel's humble attempt to make her most valued customers feel special.

Ogunsanya hinted that there will be periodic 'Pleasant Surprises' like a free trial of a product or the privilege to experience a new service/product before anybody else gets a chance to even hear about it.

He maintained that the focal point is to bring a smile to the customers’ faces within Nigeria and while on foreign trips.

“Just keep yourself accessible to us through your Active airtel SIM card. We will keep you updated with all our special offers!” he added.

For instance, on International Calls, the Airtel Boss said, calling abroad to friends, family and for business on airtel is terrific value, high quality and convenient. “With airtel, you are able to make international calls at the most affordable rates.

“Airtel's international products have been designed to specifically meet our customer needs.

All our international call rates are being charged on per second (both Prepaid and Postpaid) enabling you to ONLY pay for the duration of the call.

“This is an easy way to keep in touch with friends, family and business partners overseas at the most affordable rates. You are able to talk longer for less when you subscribe to Airtel International bundles”.

He added that Airtel understands the customers’ travel needs, thus, he encouraged others to join the network.
