Anabel Mobile has opened an ultra modern service and repair center in Lagos to reaffirm its commitment to world class service.
The state of the art technology equipment centre located in Dolphin Plaza, Ikoyi is expected to support users of the Anabel devices in the South West.
Tim Ocheja, technical support manager of the company said similar care centers are being planned for Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano, Enugu and Onitsha respectively in the first instance.
These centers, he assured, will provide the warranty which the Anabel devices come with, adding that the ultra modern center will sort out any manufacturer’s defects that may arise.
The center will also serve as a point of contact for replacement parts for loyal Anabel customers.
“Anabel is the first device manufacturer to subject itself to the NCC certification process and its devices also sports SONCAP certification,” Ocheja said.
The Center has diagnostic capabilities and can detect problems to any Anabel device once it has been assessed. The ultramodern center will serve as a first line of support for Anabel’s entire range of devices such as its Smart Phones and hand held PCs, its digital media devices and its very popular Frizzy dual sim phone, which sports a dual standby mode in addition to WAP and browser capability, MP3 and MP4 as well as FM radio, currency converter and a wide range of games.
It would be recalled that Anabel Mobile has been identified by the Federal Ministry of Information and Communications as one of the trail blazers in this direction having launched the first Nigerian mobile phone and first Nigerian pocket PC and Smart phone that runs on windows mobile operating system licensed by the Microsoft Corporation. Anabel presently produces professional series smart phones which are hand held pocket computers, they also produce “digital media devices” which can play video, music, FM radio as well as its ability to record voice and other sounds.
Anabel mobile is Africa’s first smart phone with value added services and functionalities such as the Complete Mobile Office Solution which allows for “push and pull email” which has been the hallmark of the Blackberry device as well as other functionalities which include Virtual Private Networks and closed user group, remote wiping capabilities and enterprise management systems. The handsets are manufactured and distributed by Nigerian based start up Anabel Mobile
The Anabel Smart Phone is stylish, user friendly and runs on Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1, which makes it compatible with any PC anywhere in the world that runs on Microsoft Operating Systems. It is rumored that the firm will be launching an ultra stylish design which is sleek and sophisticated expected to complete with the design of the phone, the new highly anticipated design has been on the drawing board for some months now and may be released before the end of the year.
