Atos Origin, Infoswift Partner on IT & Business Solutions

Global InfoSwift Technologies Ltd, a foremost IT solutions provider recently signed a deal with Atos Origin Worldwide, IT partner for the Olympic Games, in providing IT solutions for businesses in Nigeria.

The company has over ten partners including Oracle, Symantec, Cisco Systems, VM Ware, Business Continuity Institute, Microsoft, among others.

Both companies are currently working on a project for the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Afribank Nigeria Plc, a partnership which the company said was a plus for IT businesses in Nigeria.

The CBN project tagged: ‘Project Eagles’ involves reinventing the bank towards realizing its strategic business objectives and is currently at its fourth stage of ‘Business Continuity and Integration Strategy.’

The Afribank project on the other hand, is expected to transform the processes, people and technology of the bank for competitiveness, sustainability and shareholder value enhancement.

This project according to the company, would first address the problem of improving the bank’s business performance through four focus streams namely: Business process re-engineering (BPR), Information technology (IT), Knowledge management (KM) and Business continuity management (BCM).

Solomon Edun, managing director, Global InfoSwift was delighted at the signing of the partnership with Atos because "that could only mean that Infoswift’s reputation was going places," he said.
