ATPN to Host AFRICT-PRO Conference 2014

The Association of Telecommunication Professionals of Nigeria (ATPN) has announced plans to host the African ICT Professionals Conference and the Telecommunications/IT Executives Award 2014.

A statement by the Association and signed by Dr. Tunji Asaolu, chairman of the Planning Committee, contained that, the ceremony will hold in Abuja on April 25, 2014, under the theme: “Building a Professional Legacy from Strength to Strength”.

According to Asaolu, the AFRICT-PRO Conference is a special event designed to bring together ICT professionals, organizations, government agencies and other stakeholders in the telecommunication industry, particularly, in building great relationship in Africa and beyond.

“Stakeholders in the African IT and Telecommunication sector of high repute are billed to grace the exceptional ICT/Professionals conference and award, especially, those who have contributed immensely to the development of the sector across Africa,” he added.

‘Without telecommunications professionals, no telecommunications industry,’ could be likened as the slogan of ATPN, an umbrella body formed to cater for the interest of practicing technical and non- technical professionals in the telecommunications industry.
