“We have already made a couple of workshops in Europe. We want the participants to get used to the software like representatives of lens manufacturers. We show them step by step how to configure the surveillance system and how to install and use our software.
“Then, the lens manufacturers show how to properly use lenses, especially to provide clear images. This workshop is really efficient because a normal road show, just to make presentation may not be effective like a workshop where participants are allowed to have first hand testing and manipulations, installation and usage of the solution. We usual witness a lot of follow ups after that, so it is a better platform to educate the people that a normal road show. The motivation is there because it is free and the practical experience is given,” he said.
Commenting on the impact of the solutions, Mochinin added that it has been enormous, particularly adding value to the banking, automobile, shipping and general industrial security.
“We have done that in Russia, just making the city safer. According to statistics from the local Police, the number of criminality has reduced drastically since the adoption of this solution in some critical cities in the Country.
The project has impact a lot on retail markets, PoS terminals security, ATM fraud related crimes were averted, because we actually use the video to dictate how easy it could be to steal money from different shops. Apart from the employees, even shoplifters have been caught; using the software has saved a lot of cash for our customers,” he noted.
