An ugly war has erupted on the social media as banks in the country now take turns to swing jibes at competitions.
It all started after the Sterling Bank Plc new advert campaign which was released on Friday, July 20, seemed to rage unevenly with the banks.
In the advert creative, Sterling banks showed a man, while accessing banking services, discovered that he was experiencing regression with arrows going down (Access Bank); got jailed or duped (GTBank); had an elephant that was too sluggish to him to his destination (First Bank) and got a stallion carrying with no direction (Union Bank).
The Shoot for the moon, become a star - it's the least you deserve campaign has elicited assortment of excitements but the banks poked in the campaign are jibing back.
The banks are now taking turns to swing back at Sterling Bank.
