Bellafricana, a company that promotes African made products and services online, has launched an offline (face-to-face) community called “The Bella Community”.
Bukky Bello, chief strategist for Bellafricana told Nigeria CommunicationsWeek that the platform is, "a community of creative entrepreneurs, but we also want to connect with intrapreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs.
"When you are running a business, your business inspiration can come from almost anywhere. However, a few small business owners forget to use one of the most important tools readily available to them. One of the most important tools that you can use is community. In any city there will always be a community to connect with, and every entrepreneur needs this".
Bello said that the monthly meet up which holds every 3rd Thursday of the month, provides opportunities for various entrepreneurs, captain of industry and aspiring entrepreneurs come together to network, grow their business and mentor.
She enumerated some benefits of joining the Bella community to include, learn from others mistakes; exchange tips of business; pass on knowledge; make valuable connections and learn new business skills
"The kind of people that will be coming for the event are business owners and aspiring business owners.The Bella Community August Meetup facts holds on August 20, from 5pm - 8pm and we are looking at the theme: "Creating an outstanding brand in a competitive market"
