Buhari Appoints Ibrahim with Background in Agric as NOTAP DG
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Mr. DanAzumi Mohammed Ibrahim as the director general, National Office for Technological Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP), an agency under the Ministry of Science Technology.
A statement signed by Mr. Solomon Nshem, NOTAP’s head of Media, said the appointment was contained in an official correspondence from Engineer Babachir Lawal, secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
He said: “President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Dr. DanAzumi Mohammed Ibrahim as Director General/Chief Executive of the National office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP).”
Ibrahim, the statement added, is a graduate of Agriculture from the University of Maiduguri, holds a Master of Science degree in Soil Microbiology from the University of Newcastle Upontyne, United Kingdom in 1987 and a Doctorate degree in Soil Fertility from the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi in 2004.
