Carmudi.com.ng, Nigeria’s number one online automobile marketplace, during the week, held a seminar for bloggers and online news platforms at its Lagos office under the theme: “Attracting the right clients to your online space”.

At the seminar aimed at helping to improve the blogging sphere in Nigeria and also educate bloggers on how to generate income from blogging, Carmudi said that the platforms are germane to business development in the present business world.

Biodun Makinde, Marketing Manager at Carmudi Nigeria, welcomed the participants of the seminar and shared with them his views on the importance of blogging.

He said, “Nigerians are shifting from offline to online in all areas of life, from reading news to purchasing cars. This event was a perfect opportunity for us to share our learnings on how best to reach readers online.”

Makinde, a renowned digital media strategist, media consultant, public speaker, writer and the Marketing Manager of Carmudi Nigeria taught participants ways to improve the quality of their websites, web pages and increase the traffic as well as how to better use social media to promote their websites.

The highlight of the seminar was a fifteen minute powerpoint presentation on Search Engine Optimization.

The presentation was centered on the importance and use of Search Engine Optimization. Kingsley highlighted the need for adequate visibility of websites and webpage, adding that SEO is an important factor of internet marketing strategy.

The participants expressed their gratitude to Carmudi Nigeria for organizing the seminar.

Carmudi Nigeria has, in the past, organized and partnered with events such as TEDx Unilag where internship opportunities were for undergraduates were announced, 9ineteen Vanguard office tour, and the Carmudi Nigeria students office tour with the aim of improving the tech space in Nigeria.

As a vehicle marketplace it offers buyers, sellers and car dealers the ideal platform to find cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles online.
