CcHub Out with State-of-the-art Mobile App Testing Facility

Co-Creation Hub, Nigeria’s first open living pre-incubation space has launched a state-of-the-art mobile app testing facility to support the development and deployment of agile user-centric mobile applications in Nigeria.

Tunji Eleso, director, Business Advisory, CcHub, told Nigeria CommunicationsWeek that the facility is first of its kind laboratory at CcHUB in Lagos that provides developers with on-demand access to testing services and importantly usability testing to ensure optimal user experience.

“It is welcoming news about an array of mobile testing devices from major device manufacturers. The OSs in our portfolio range from Bada, Android, Java and Blackberry’s latest offering BB10. Name it, we have got something to suit your palate as a mobile apps developer,” he said.

Cchub is designed to be a multi-functional, multi-purpose space where work to catalyze creative social tech ventures take place. The HUB is a place for technologists, social entrepreneurs, government, tech companies, impact investors and hackers in and around Lagos to co-create new solutions to the many social problems in Nigeria.

He listed a range of Phone model in the hub’s library to include, Blackberry curve 8520, Blackberry curve 9300, Blackberry bold 9780, Blackberry 10 dev alpha, Blackberry bold 9790, Nokia asha 305, Nokia 603(000), Nokia pureview 808, Nokia asha 311, Nokia asha 303, Nokia lumia 920, Tecno t608, Gionee pioneer, Samsung galaxy tab, Samsung Prototype note II, Samsung Galaxy Fit, Samsung wave, Samsung galaxy y-pro duos, Samsung galaxy ace plus, HTC Pc 40210 (windows phone 7) and HTC Pb 99100 (nexus one).

While appreciating brands like Nokia, Blackberry, Tecno, Samsung, Google, and Microsoft who helped make this happen, Eleso added that the Lab provides dedicated software testing across all mobile platforms including Android, bada, Blackberry, Blackberry tablet OS (QNX), J2ME, Symbian and Windows Phone. Equipped with a variety of real handsets, the Lab is positioned to provide specific and complete full life cycle testing to Nigeria’s budding tech community and stakeholders.
