Chidoka, 30 Airport Managers, others Thinker on Improved Performance
Airport Managers have been charged to improve on their performance as mechanism is being put in place to measure their performance on the job.
Mr. Osita Chidoka, minister of Aviation, said this in Abuja on Monday, in a parley with Regional General Managers, Airport Managers and Terminal Managers of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria.
According to Chidoka, performance would henceforth be evaluated for greater output and productivity, stressing that “we will monitor, measure and improve to achieve the goal of making us commit to what we want to achieve”.
Earlier, the minister had engaged project consultants who briefed him on the on-going airport projects with updates on each project.
The parley which was attended by Airport Managers of 30 airports across the country was also attended by Mr. Yemi Adelakum, permanent secretary Ministry of Aviation, who challenged Managers to be IT compliant and improve on their communication lines for greater productivity.
Directors from the Ministry and Engr. Saleh Dunoma, MD of FAAN,, were also at the interactive session.
