Chidoka For 20th LAAC Seminar

Osita Chidoka, Aviation minister, is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour at the 20th League of Airport and Aviation (LAAC) seminar 2014.

“Aviation Infrastructure and Policy As Stimulus For Economic Growth In Nigeria” has been slated as the theme of this year’s LAAC seminar.

A statement by Chukwuemeke Iwelunmo, chairman of LAAC, said the topic was carefully selected in view of the sorry state of infrastructure in the nation’s aviation sector in recent times.

According to the statement, dignitaries from within and outside the aviation sector were expected to attend the 20th annual event of the League.

“This year’s seminar promises to be one of the best with regards the topic, calibre of resource people and invitees. It is time to tell ourselves the truth in the industry and chart the way forward for a better aviation in Nigeria”

Capt Usman Muhtar of NCAA, Engr Saleh Dunoma of FAAN and Engr Ibrahim Abdulsalam of NAMA as keynote speakers.

Discussants include Capt Edward Boyo Landover aviation, Capt Dele Ore of Aviation Round Table, Mr Olumide Ohunayo a seasoned aviation analyst, Comrade Benjamin Okewu ATSSSAN president among others.

The seminar scheduled to hold on 6th November 2014 at NCAA Annex MMIA, will commence at  9 am prompt.
