Computer Warehouse Group Plc, Nigeria’s foremost ICT Company, which only recently, listed with the NSE and has gone ahead to formally rebrand to CWG Plc, was a shining star at the recently concluded Titans of Tech Awards 2016.
The Company which has been around for over 20 years, has proved consistently that it is not just about how far, but how well.
The Titans of Tech Awards which held at Oriental Hotel, Lagos Nigeria, hosted several dignitaries, and CWG Plc was awarded the Most Valuable ICT Brand of the Year, Mr. James Agada, the Company’s CEO, and Mr. Austin Okere, vice chairman & founder were both honoured as part of Nigeria’s top 50 Tech TITANS.
Owing to the Company’s history of resilience, excellence and Staff Dedication, CWG Plc has won series of awards between the first and second quarter of 2016.
Some of these awards include, Commitment to Entrepreneurial Excellence, awarded to Mr. James Agada, by Success Circle Africa, President’s Special Recognition award, awarded to CWG Plc by Nigeria Computer Society, Collaboration & Development Prize, awarded to CWG Plc by Huawei, Banking Application of The Year (FINACLE) awarded to CWG Plc by Beacon of ICT.
Mr. Okere, Vice Chairman, CWG was also very recently, given the NCS Presidential Award for Promotion of ICT In Nigeria. Speaking on the success of CWG so far, he said: “Today I feel very connected to the saying ‘if I stand tall, it is because I am standing on the shoulders of giants’. It resonates very deeply when I consider the strong team that I have been blessed to work with”.
CWG Plc, has grown from being an ordinary start-up in 1992, to becoming the leading player in the ICT Sector, providing business enabling solutions across the Financial, Telecoms and Oil Sector, with aspiration to be the largest cloud provider in Africa by 2020.
