DH2i, the leading provider of Microsoft Windows Server applications management, high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR) and cost improvement solutions, has announced it has entered into a strategic reseller agreement with one of Nigeria’s premier IT services and solutions firms, Storhet Solutions.

Under terms of the agreement, Storhet Solutions will offer DH2i’s DxEnterprise® software directly to its mid-to-enterprise clients across Nigeria and Ghana. This solution will help clients who seek to ensure HA and DR, while dramatically improving capital and operating expenses (CAPEX and OPEX) across their SQL Server and Oracle environments.

Bright Iremhinmhen, Chief Executive Officer, Storhet Solutions, said that Storhet is passionate about empowering her clients to succeed and compete in Nigeria, Ghana and abroad through technology and digital transformation.

“For many of our clients, SQL Server and/or Oracle have met this goal – serving as invaluable solutions for processing, analyzing and transforming data into actionable business insights.  However, until now it seemed unavoidable that we must ‘take the good with the bad’—which in the case of both solutions were challenges around HA, DR, management and cost.”

“DH2i’s DxEnterprise eliminates these concerns.  DxEnterprise offers our clients the ability to enjoy near-zero planned or unplanned downtime, as well as complete disaster resilience.  And, by providing the ability to quickly and easily consolidate the number of OSes to license and manage by 8-15 times, our clients can streamline management while saving 50%-80% in licensing costs or visit http://dh2i.com/product-tour-and-free-trial/dxenterprise.

They can then refocus these valuable human and financial resources on initiatives that more directly impact their bottom line,” he said.

Connor Cox, Director of Business Development, DH2i, said: “We are excited to expand into Nigeria and Ghana, and proud to partner with one of the region’s most successful and trusted IT solutions and consulting providers – Storhet.  By leveraging DxEnterprise, together with our DxAdvantage Channel Partner Program, Storhet can respond, serve and profit in a market that demands solutions for rising datacenter complexity and cost.”

He added that DxEnterprise®, decouples enterprise applications such as SQL Server and Oracle on Windows from the host OS and underlying IT infrastructure. Resultantly, users achieve complete workload portability and an 8-to-15 times reduction in OS count.  In doing so, customers enjoy streamlined management, increased availability and easy disaster recovery (DR). This approach ensures near-zero planned and unplanned downtime, and unlocks immediate savings of 30%-60%all with full Microsoft license compliance.

The USD still ranks among the major forces that drive financial markets all over the world. When the USD gains in value, it rarely affects currency pairs alone; it may have implications for commodities, stock market indices, capital movement, and risk appetite.
