Dimension Data has announced it has been certified as one of the top employers in the world for outstanding employee offerings by Top Employers Institute.

The stringent criteria of the annual independent research carried out by the Top Employers Institute include talent management, leadership, training and development and initiatives to attract, retain and engage employee talent and Dimension Data has won it for the second consecutive year.

Dennis Utter, Global Business Director for the Top Employers Institute said, "Optimal employee conditions ensure that people can develop themselves personally and professionally. Our comprehensive research concluded that Dimension Data provides an outstanding working environment and working conditions, and offers a wide range of creative initiatives - from secondary benefits and working conditions, to performance-management programmes that are well thought out, and truly aligned with the culture of their company."

Brett Dawson, Dimension Data's Group CEO said, "We're very excited to be recognised as one of the top organisations in the world for the second year running. The scale and speed of technology is shifting paradigms, companies and brands, products, processes and even entire business models. Digital technology in particularly, holds fantastic potential for organisations and is the key that will unlock their potential. However, to stay ahead of the competition, and accelerate our client's ambitions, we must be the best at what we do. Without our growing team of over 31,000 talented people around the globe, this would not be possible."

Marilyn Chaplin, Dimension Data's Group Executive, Human Resources said, "HR is no longer seen as a transactional, box-ticking, paper-heavy administrative department. The digital explosion is impacting the way we attract, retain, and manage talent. I believe that making the right investments in our people at the right time is vital. In today's fast-moving digital world, we're committed to continuously upskilling our talent to enable them to keep pace with changes in our industry."
