Doregos Private Academy in partnership with EC-Council and New Horizons Systems Solutions, has created another record by giving the world’s youngest Security 5 certified professionals at age 13.
The partnership also produced the duo of young Master Davidson Oseremen (12) and Miss Seun Alade (13) with this international certification. With this certification and proper management of their skills set, these students and many others like them that are benefiting from the integrated ICT professional based training pioneered by New Horizons, Nigeria can become can shape the face of the future for our nation and indeed Africa. Ultimately, the nation’s quest for more entrepreneurs and “techno-preneurs,” will be met within a short time.
Speaking on the achievement of the young security professional, Mrs. Clementina Abeke Doregos, the proprietress of Doregos Private Academy, said the results came at the right time as they were celebrating the 20th anniversary of the school.
She recounts that the success story recorded one after the other has been as a result of the partnership with reputable international organization – New Horizons Systems Solutions Limited.
She started off by recounting that in December 2006, Davidson Oseremen and Rilwan Shittu assembled a personal computer at a record time of 15mins at Sheraton hotel and Towers Lagos and that the school have won various laurels in ICT both at the national and international level.
Tim Akano, md/CEO New Horizons, Nigeria, said he was delighted to hear about this achievement adding that “with the success recorded in the partnership with secondary schools and universities over the last four years, through the integration of ICT professional-based curricula training, there is hope for the future of IT in the country”.
“Our legacy is that of hope and integrity and very soon our nation will be respected more for IT innovations that have positive impact on people and not the menace of online fraud.”
