The E-Payment Provides Association of Nigeria (E-PPAN) is set to host the 3rd edition of its Annual E-Payment Government Summit from the 8th – 9th of July 2014 at the Shehu Musa Yar’adua Centre, Abuja.
This years’ summit themed “Increasing Government Revenue Generation using E-Payment Services”, is designed as an exclusive invitation-only event that brings together hundreds of key industry and government professionals for a two-day intensive interactive dialogue and educational sessions on ways to increase efficiency and internally generated revenue by government MDAs.
The summit is held in collaboration with the Central Bank of Nigeria and sponsored by top industry companies in Nigeria
The E-Payment for Government Summit is an innovation of E-PPAN dedicated to the improvement and enhancement of government services as well as to drive the efficiency of a G2P (Government to People) services through e-payment.
The summit is intended to create the platform for top government decision makers and senior public executives to learn firsthand from leading payment experts and professionals from both within and outside the country while providing the industry with the opportunity to showcase products and services that can enable government enhance IGR, automate disbursements and payments, eliminate wastage, simplify governance and increase access to government services.
The two days summit will be officially opened by the Chief Host of the event, Mrs. Omobola Johnson, minister for Communication Technology.

The Executive Secretary/CEO E-PPAN explained that “resting on the success of the past editions, this year’s summit is designed to bring together the private and public sectors in order to facilitate dialogue on how innovation and technology in electronic payment can be implemented in the public sector to improve efficiency in delivery of services and enhance increase in generation of government revenue.”
The summit is open to all top level government executives, decision makers and senior government officials in Audit department, revenue generation and collection departments, Banking operations/ Banking Relationships dept, Cash management, Inspection/Internal Control, Treasury Managers and all those involved in the implementation of policies at the Federal, State and Local Governments in Nigeria.
