Computer Information Systems (CIS), one of Nigeria’s premier ICT companies has appointed Osaretin Moses Ekhator as its first indigenous sales director for its Nigerian operations effect August 1.

The decision came as CIS the Global ICT system integrator specialists plan to consolidate its market share in Nigeria’s ICT space.

Ekhator a client engagement expert has acquired vast experience from working with multinationals as well as reputable local organizations including Barclays bank, American International Group (AIG), InterSwitch and an SAP Gold partner over a 12 year period before joining Computer Information Systems.


He was until this recent appointment as the head of sales at CIS and will now direct all customer engagement activities including driving sales, marketing and after sales services operations of CIS Nigeria as well as manage relations with major OEM partners including overseeing businesses across all micro-verticals in Nigeria.

Commenting on Ekhator’s appointment recently after the CIO technology interactive conference organised by CIS and HP at the Sky restaurant of Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Gilbert Farina, global chief commercial officer of CIS International, said that CIS international was after a capable and credible personality who will fully take charge of executing a strategic sales plan that will enhance its objectives of emerging as the partner of choice on the Nigeria ICT scene, contributing to the growth goals set forth by the organization while leveraging on CIS existing brand of highly skilled personnel who delivers quality and impeccable services to its valued customers across all micro verticals.

“We needed somebody with a good knowledge of our core values, and had the unique ability to demonstrate the understanding of the local business environment, products, and customer needs, with a focus on growing CIS market share while maintaining our traditional customer base and we are confident that Osaretin Ekhator is the perfect fit to that requirement” he said.

Ekhator possess a BSc in Sociology from Edo State University, a Post Graduate Certification from the London School of e-commerce and a Masters degree in International Banking and Finance from The University of Greenwich, London.
