EMC, global leader in IT and business transformation, will hold the annual EMC Forum in Lagos on November 25, in furtherance of its efforts to catalyze the growth and development of Nigeria’s IT sector.
This year’s edition, EMC said, follows the highly successful 2013 event.
Aimed at helping businesses make the transition to software-defined enterprise by leveraging the power of cloud computing and big data, the one-day forum will see top decision makers and IT professionals from different organisations brainstorm on the latest challenges and trends in the industry.
Nigeria CommunicationsWeek also learnt the event will also facilitate access to information on the latest technologies that enable enterprise owners better manage critical operations, optimize resources and costs as well as enhance customer engagement.
Key speakers expected at the event include Patricia Florissi, vice president and global chief technology officer of EMC, and Nazim Fraijat, managing director of EMC Levant and Emerging Africa Region.
Rasheed Ola Jimoh, the company’s Regional Manager for West Africa, will also be in attendance to engage participants in interactive discussions aimed at highlighting best practices in the IT sector, using case studies to help organizations meet the demands of the dynamic global IT landscape.

EMC experts will also be on hand to facilitate virtual demonstrations that will showcase these solutions to participants, giving them first-hand experience and demonstrating the simplicity of managing EMC’s products.
