Eskimi, an innovative performance and engagement oriented social media platform ran another survey to research how often Eskimi users travel and learn about their travel abroad plans.
The research was done with 3'562 sample size.
The research showed that 43% of users already traveled abroad and majority of them (77%) chose plane as their means of transport.
Second most important means of transport was bus.
The most popular countries among travelers were UK, Ghana, USA, South Africa and UAE.
"The researched people are mostly from largest cities and the average age of the person who participates in the research is 25. This shows that young professionals who are using mobile internet are also very active on travel", Vytas Paukstys, chief executive officer of Eskimi commented on the results.
The research also asked about cost of trip and plans to travel in the near 6 months.
When people were talking about their plans, the list of countries were different, majority are planning to visit USA, UK and Canada. Ghana and South Africa stand in the 4th and 5th positions.
Spain, Qatar, Japan, Germany, Malaysia and other countries were also in the list of countries that people are planning to visit.
