Etisalat Donates CUG Lines, Toyota Hilux to Imo State
Etisalat, Nigeria’s fastest growing and most innovative telecommunications company has demonstrated its support for the communities where it operates with donation of equipment to Imo State Government.
The donations made through the office of Prince Eze Anoruo Madumere, deputy Governor of the State, included a brand new security patrol Toyota Hilux and Close User Group (CUG) lines to aid the State.
Adekunle Durojaiye, deputy director, Technical at Etisalat Nigeria, highlighted the company’s preparedness to continue to work with the State and community explained that this was part of an ongoing plan to engage as we continue to expand our network.
He said, “Etisalat Nigeria is aware of the challenges in the entire country and we commend the state for their achievements in reducing the crime rates as well improving the welfare of the citizens in the state. We hope that the items we have donated to them will improve communication between the different agencies.
Receiving the donations on behalf of the State, the deputy Governor commended Etisalat for the gesture extended to the State, and noted that it was a laudable action by a corporate organization. He assured the representatives that the donations will be used to improve communication facilities within the State.
