Fidelity Bank Plc has rewarded its customers that emerged winners in the first nationwide draw of the bank’s ‘Save 4 Scholarship’ promotion with a total of N15.9 million.

These winners emerged from a draw that covered all the regions of the bank’s operations across the country and monitored by various lottery regulatory agencies.

The first N2 million star-prize winner was Agozie Nwosu, a customer of the bank’s Egbeda branch in Lagos, while Kikiyi Williams, Umar Aliu, Sharon Sunday Uneke, Vincent Nnabuike, Umar Musa Ahmed and Orumba Gerrard, all won N1 million respectively.

Also, several customers won N500,000, N210, generator sets, as well as refrigerators.

At the draw held in Lagos at the weekend, where numerous consolation prizes were also given to the numerous customers, Mrs. Chijioke Ugochukwu, executive director, Shared Services, Fidelity Bank said the ‘Save 4 Scholarship’ initiative is the fifth promotion that the bank is conducting in the last seven years.

“This is the first draw of the ‘Save 4 scholarship’ scheme, which we launched nationwide recently. With this promo, we are tapping into the heart of the need of mankind, which is the need for generational self-improvement.

“What oils this generational self-improvement and achievement is education. This has been recognised globally and there is no government that does not place education as a pillar for its developmental objectives and at Fidelity Bank, we always find a way to put ourselves in tune with the needs of our customers and the people. We always align our objectives with that of governments.

“We have a population of about 170 million predominantly made up of young people and we are in an environment where education is most important to the people.”

“Fidelity Bank is very proud to have an occasion like this, to show the world the reality of what we are talking about,” she added.
