Glo Redeems Pledge on Valentine Promo

Globacom has taken its subscribers who won in the “valentine getaway Promo” to the prestigious and exotic Obudu Cattle Ranch resort in Cross River State for days of fun and relaxation.
The subscribers were chosen in a draw conducted in Glo Mobile’s special Valentine promotions tagged "Valentine Getaway Promo" which ended in February.
The two promotions were launched on February 10 to celebrate the Valentine season and reward subscribers for their loyalty to the network.
Five subscribers emerged winners in the Valentine Getaway Promo and were invited along with their partners for the all expenses-paid weekend vacation at the Obudu Cattle Ranch.
The winners all admitted that the Obudu vacation was their best holiday experience ever.
Others commented that though the trip was just for two days, it was packed full of activities while still giving them time to rest.
From Obudu, the Glo promo winners proceeded to Tinapa Business Resort and the Marina Beach Resort both in Calabar for recreation and sightseeing.
The Valentine Getaway offer had required subscribers to call 32001 and answer correctly three out of five short questions to stand a chance to have the Romantic Getaway, courtesy of Globacom.
During the two-day vacation, the Glo subscribers, who had never been to the ranch, could not hold back their awe at the beauty of nature and the excellence of the facilities they saw at the resort. In addition, they lacked nothing throughout their stay as Globacom had made provision for their maximum comfort while at the location.
One of the winners, Alo Adebayo, an executive with Coca-Cola Nigeria said he was on his annual leave following an illness from which he was convalescing when he was contacted by Glo officials that he had won a free trip to Obudu. “This vacation came at the right time, in the midst of my annual leave after recovering from my illness. Glo has given me the best of vacations”, he said.
Another winner, Blessing Iorchir who is a student of the College of Education, Oju, Benue State said the trip was an eye opener and a great opportunity.  “I love this place (Obudu Cattle Ranch), I am enjoying every minute here,” she said during her stay at the Ranch.
Iorchir said all her family members are on the Glo network, praised Glo for rewarding its subscribers.
