Anyigba, Kogi State, was on Saturday treated to a night of fun and endless entertainment as top musicians in Nigeria took the centre stage to perform at the Glo Slide 'n' Bounce concert held at the University town.

The Habour Bay Hotel, venue of the concert, attracted a massive crowd, especially students of Kogi State University, Anyigba who came in their thousands to enjoy a fun-filled evening.

At the end of the show, the students expressed their appreciation to Globacom for staging the wave-making concert in their community.

Top comedian, Okey Bakassi, who anchored the show, interweaved performances by different acts with rib-cracking jokes that got the crowd applauding him repeatedly.

A lot of talents were discovered during the show as students of the university, who participated in all the competitions including dancing, singing and beauty pageant, as well as the up and coming artistes, performed creditably well.

It was fun all the way as the crowd applauded the up and coming artistes who performed at the concert. Among those that dazzled the crowd are MC Water, Carmelo Drago, Gifted Dancers, Raheem Biko, Phat Prince, OC Green, Kezy Swift, Mareez, Sky V, Lethel Teding and Jeezzy.

This was followed by the dancing and singing competitions. Sanni Shittu Temitope of the Department of Banking and Finance won the dancing competition, while Popoola Segun of History Department won the Singing competition. Amuju Marzuqat of Mass Communication Department also came first in the "Fine Girl" competition.

Glo Ambassador, Burrna Boy, was the first big artiste on stage and he thrilled the crowd with his energetic dance steps as his baritone voice reverberated through the speakers to the delight of the crowd. He thrilled the crowd with his hit tracks including O fe se lu and Who no know me.

Africa rapper number one, Mr Incredible, MI, closed the show with a superb performance. The high point of which was his rendition of “Somebody Wants To Die", bringing to bear on the stage and the crowd, his brilliance which has kept him relevant in the Nigerian music industry for the past four years.
