Nigeria’s telecoms firm, Globacom, has congratulated Muslims across the country on this year’s celebration of the festival of Eid-El-Kabir.

In a press statement released in Lagos on Tuesday, Globacom urged the Muslim Ummah to continue to cultivate the spirit of self-restraint and rededicate themselves to the service of Allah.

”It is a season of charity, peace-making, and forgiveness. We must use this season to remember to fend for the poor and the needy in line with Allah’s injunction to be our brother’s keeper”, Globacom noted.

The company while congratulating Muslims who successfully performed this year’s Hajj in fulfillment of the injunction of Islamic faith, promised to ensure that all Nigerians on the Glo network have a smooth communication experience during and after the holidays by providing high-quality service throughout the season and beyond.

The statement concluded by calling on all Muslims to practice the virtues of commitment, dedication and obedience which Prophet Ibrahim showed by his willingness to sacrifice his son in deference to the will of Allah which the festival of Eid-El-Kabir commemorates.
