Globacom, national telecoms operator, has concluded plans to open additional seven Gloworld shops in the country this month.
The company said the new shops are located in Lagos, Bonny, Oshogbo and Katsina and is to bring the company’s bouquet of services closer to the people as the shops offer similar services anywhere in the country.
Patrick Awotwi, Globacom's Ddrector of Sales, “with the scores of Gloworld shops around the country, subscribers need not travel long distances anymore to enjoy our services. Globacom assures our teeming subscribers of quick and satisfactory resolution of all issues ranging from SIM replacement to SIM registration, recovery of over-scratched cards, refill, un-blocking of SIMS, phone and laptop configurations for internet as well as post-paid bill payments and purchase of all Glo and other complementary products at the shops.”
Awotwi noted that “Gloworld is a strategic business unit of Globacom. It provides specialised outlets which are equipped to offer convenient and easy access to products, services and problem-resolution in a world-class and friendly environment. The Gloworld concept is aimed at efficient service delivery, using a state-of-the-arts technology platform managed by well-trained members of staff in order to bring the company’s brand closer to customers.
Three of the new shops became operational on Monday, January 7th. The first is located at Ikeja City Mall; while the second one on Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island is for Post Paid customers only. The third is located at Oluwole Urban Mall, Nnamdi Azikiwe/Martins Street, Lagos Island.
Another Gloworld shop will be opened at Conoil Filling Station, Cele Bus stop on Oshodi-Apapa Express Way on Thursday, 10th January, 2013.
Others to be opened within the period are located on Osogbo/Gbogan Road, Oshogbo, Osun State ; 57 Hospital Way, Bonny Island, Rivers State and the last in IBB Way, Kofar Kaura, Katsina.
