Mr Taiwo Kola-Ogunlade, the Google’s Communications and Public Affairs Manager, Anglophone West Africa, on Friday advised youths to be content creators so that their talents would be exposed.

According to Kola-Ogunlade, folks are now ‘migrating’ to their phones and laptop to watch shows, news and even learn how to cook.

“YouTube brings together some of the creative contents from Nigerians across the globe.

“From comedy to motivational talks, so many Nigerian content creators offer you full value for your time.

“ Simply open your YouTube and enjoy the amazing contents on Nigeria by Nigerians for Nigerians.

“Whether you want to learn how to sew or cook or simply laugh away the stress, simply open your YouTube and subscribe to one of the many Nigerians with content just for you,” he said.

Kola-Ogunlade said that if their contents had high track, it could also generate income for them.

He listed seven of Nigerian top content creators on YouTube for the public viewing pleasure – Channels Television – news served hot, MarkAngel Comedy – versions of comic episodes.

Also listed are TokeMoments – Inspiring words and life tips from Toke Makinwa, Nollywood Channel – IbakaTV/Nollywood, Nigerian Cuisine – How to make different Nigerian foods.

Others are: Battabox – Street gist, video features, talk shows and reality shows, Sisi Yemmie – Lifestyle.
