Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, Lagos State Governor has selected Dr. (Mrs) Omobola Johnson, the immediate past Minister of Communication Technology under fomrer President Goodluck Jonathan as one of the 12-Member of the Economic Advisory Committee of Lagos state.
The 12-Member Economic Advisory Committee was inaugurated on Monday, at Lagos House Ikeja.
Speaking during the inauguration, Governor Ambode described the Committee as would be “a sounding board over policies that will improve the business environment and the economic development of the State”.
Dr. (Mrs) Omobola Johnson in her tweet assured the tech entrepreneur that their voice will heard.
The selection of Mrs. Johnson which might be one the positive outcome from the Governor’s visit to some ICT Hubs in Lagos recently.
Omobola has always be on the vanguard of promoting ICT innovations in Nigeria, part of her idea as a Minister was the establishment of Idea Hub Yaba, Lagos.
