Gov Obi Points Ways to Rebranding Nigeria

Gov Peter obi of Anambra State has advised the country to embrace free and fare election as the most credible re-branding that the State needs now
The governor stated this while receiving  Pete Edochie, who paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House, Awka.
Obi said that once elections are free and fare, that corruption would have been reduced drastically in the country.
He  said government was putting in place a more aggressive measure to ensure that the State was secured and urged the people to go about their normal businesses without fear. He regretted that today many people without any visible means of livelihood were aspiring to leadership position.
The governor noted that reduction of corruption will strengthen the country’s economy, generate employment and empower the people and commended Chief Edochie for remaining a worthy ambassador of the State and country.
Earlier, Chief Pete Edochie, the ace movie star, said that free and fair election held solution to many challenges confronting the country today. 
Chief Edochie who is the Chairman, Nigerian Rebranding Committee said free and fair election would ensure that those with people’s mandate would  consult the people regularly before decision on collective issues were made.
He enjoined politicians to play down on flamboyant life style to avoid giving youths negative mindset on reality of life and called on government at all levels to introduce a social security scheme that will empower the unemployed to reduce crime and social vices.
Chief Edochie said the visit was to thank Governor Obi for his practical efforts in securing his release and deep concern he demonstrated during his ordeal.
