Gbolahan Fagbure and Raphael Afaedor co-chief executive officers of Supermart.ng, have disclosed that the grocery, everyday essentials retail market is worth $72 billion.

They were recently on CNBC Africa discussing 'Ecommerce as a growing sector in Nigeria’.

They also discussed the growth rates thus far of the e-commerce market in Nigeria and its drivers, the future of grocery retail online and the factors which will influence the future.

In addition, they explained how e-commerce is different in 2014 compared to 2012, the classes and earning powers of people shopping online, the evolving relationship between physical and online stores, what people are buying online are more.
