Globacom has given reasons why it is the preferred telecommunications solutions provider for many of the big players in the corporate sector.

The total ICT solutions provider is believed to have inched ahead of closest competitor in the race for the largest share of the corporate enterprise segment of the market in the country.

Mr Kamaldeen Shonibare, head of Corporate Sales of Globacom, said that many corporate organizations including international agencies, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Banking, Food and Beverage, Insurance and Religion, amongst others have pitched their tent with Glo for their voice and data needs.

He said Globacom’s wide network coverage and the massive network upgrade embarked upon by the company in 2014 to enhance service delivery have given it the edge over other operators.

Other factors which he said endeared Glo to different industry players are its very proactive and responsive sales team, highly flexible packages and reliable connectivity for voice and data services.

Glo, Mr. Shonibare explained, also has an efficient Account Management system which is complemented by a very courteous and effective team that puts a personal touch to customer service and relationship management.

He added that several corporate clients had often commended the effective customer care management efforts of the Glo Corporate Sales Team.

’’We have a very dynamic team as well as a huge capital base, and we are able to design very flexible packages to suit the specific needs of our customers. These stand us out in the market,“ he stated.

He listed some of the organization as the United Nations, Dangote Plc in the Manufacturing sector, Chevron, Seplat, Halliburton Energy, Addax, NIPCO, Sterling Oil and Septa in the Oil and Gas sector and Sterling Bank, Stanbic IBTC and FCMB in the banking category. He added that the others were Deeper Life Bible Church, Mansard Insurance as well as Nigeria Bottling Company (NBC) and 7-Up Bottling Company in the Food and Beverage sector.

Mr. Shonibare disclosed that Glo was also popular in the public sector, with the Presidency, Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Ministries of Internal Affairs and Aviation, the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Navy being some of the government establishments whose telecom requirements are provided by the network.
