As at midday on Thursday, Yudala’s website had recorded thousands of visits from keen shoppers eager to be the first to enjoy some of the bargain prices on offer.

Reports from the various Yudala stores spread across the length and breadth of the country also painted a picture of long queues of potential shoppers who had gathered ahead of the official opening hours of the stores in order to beat the rush from other prospective visitors.

According to Mike Abonyi, a regular shopper at Yudala, the experience so far has justified the theme of this year’s campaign which Yudala had tagged – The Real Black Friday.

“The timing of Yudala’s Black Friday campaign certainly makes it the Real Black Friday. Coming at the end of the month when most workers would have been assured of receiving their salaries, Yudala has really given us a chance to be able to take advantage of the deals on offer. After all, what is Black Friday when you don’t have money in the pocket to shop with?

“Just today (Thursday) alone, my friends and I have been able to buy a number of items at rock-bottom prices at Yudala. All through the weekend and till Monday (November 28th) when the promotion ends, there will be surely be many more opportunities to enjoy the Real Black Friday at Yudala.”

For Abonyi and many others, shopping at Yudala come with numerous benefits including free device screen insurance under the company’s – You Break it – We fix it – policy as well as peace of mind crystallized in the guarantee of purchasing only genuine products from the platform – a factor that has set Yudala apart in the market-place. This is in addition to the opportunity of enjoying same-day delivery which Yudala pioneered on a nationwide scale earlier this year and a suite of convenient, customer-centric order fulfilment options.

Prior to the Real Black Friday sales, Yudala had given millions of bargain-hungry Nigerians a chance to get an early taste of its Black Friday discounts through a week-long promotion known as Midday Madness which featured flash sales ran from Monday November 14th to Friday November 18th.

Yudala had stunned the e-commerce world and made history during its first ever Black Friday promotion in November 2015 with the drone delivery of the first order which was incidentally placed by a staff of Access Bank, Mrs. Yetunde Lawal – a feat which has received global acclaim as the first recorded instance of product delivery using a drone in the e-commerce world.

Furthermore, Yudala had also set a new record by being the first e-commerce outfit to launch an online and offline Black Friday promotion which afforded many the opportunity of visiting its chain of Experience Stores to take advantage of the mouth-watering deals on offer.

With its emphasis on genuine products and guaranteed manufacturer’s warranty, Yudala has expanded the scope of e-commerce in Nigeria since its entry into the market late last year and has also succeeded in raising the bar with a slew of innovative strategies including same day delivery on a nationwide scale, You-Break-It, We-Fix It policy, job creation platform known as YUBOSS as well as its customer engagements activities such as Yudala Zero Gravity Mega Concerts and Gyming with the Stars, among others, through which it is building a growing army of loyal and satisfied customers.
