ICS Financial Systems (ICSFS), the global software and services provider for banks and financial institutions, announced that its flagship solution, ICS BANKS® was named a winner for the Beacon of ICT (BoICT) Awards 2014 in the “Banking Software of the Year 2013” category for the fourth consecutive year.
The event took place recently in Lagos, Nigeria.

According to the organizers of the awards, this year over 250,000 Nigerians voted in the different categories with ICS BANKS® emerging as the clear winner in the Banking Software of the Year category with 142,012 votes cast from December 1, 2013 to March 29, 2014.
The awards were instituted by Communication Week Media Limited, publishers of Nigeria CommunicationsWeek, the fiercely independent weekly ICT newspaper covering the knowhow of e-business, broadcasting, courier, computing, telecom, ICT career, and any other ICT business, and are uniquely placed to view government and business organizations as well as individuals’ contributions, creativity and excellence in the application of ICTs and solutions.
