ICSFS Showcases the Latest Financial Technology

ICS Financial Systems (ICSFS), the global software and services provider for banks and financial institutions, jointly conducted a one day seminar with Oracle titled ‘’Empowering the Financial Sector in Kenya ‘’to introduce the latest technology and innovation for the banking and financial industry.

The event was held on 18 March 2015in Nairobi at the Intercontinental City Hotel.

The seminar featured ICS Financial Systems with its flagship; ICS BANKS’ conventional and Islamic solutions, emphasizing on ICSFS’ development approach, ensuring rich spectrum of features in ICS BANKS® conventional solutions and ICS BANKS® ISLAMIC system, by reflecting customers’ actual process and best practice.

Mr. Wael Malkawi; executive director for Business Development at ICSFS, shared with the audience ICSFS’ understanding and vision for the future trends that will be practiced in the financial services domain, and how ICSFS will be ready to be part of the future innovation.

In addition, ICSFS showcased ICS BANKS complete suite of banking business modules that covers all business areas such as Core banking, Remittances, Trade Finance, Lending, CreditFacilities & Risk Groups, Finance Leasing, Investment, Delivery Channels and Islamic Banking.

Mr. Malkawi also highlighted ICS BANKS being one of the first banking applications to implement Oracle’s latest technology in Africa and the Middle East, and even among the first in the world. Mr. Malkawi also commented,
