iDirect, TD Ink Partnership Agreement
Technology Distributions Limited (TD), number one in ICT distributions in West Africa has entered into partnership with iDirect, global leader in hub infrastructure, in a move that would address the growing complexity of deploying and managing global IP networks in Nigeria.
TD which recently enriched its portfolio to include products from Lenovo, Samsung and Canon brings into the iDirect partnership a pedigree of innovative marketing and technical competence that has earned it the leadership of ICT products distribution beyond the Nigerian borders.
Mrs. Chioma Chimere, dxecutive Director, Marketing, TD, said during a media launch of the partnership that TD through its reseller network spanning across West Africa, would now stock and distribute iDirect portfolio of hubs, routers and network management software and consolidate its positioning as the foremost one-stop-shop for ICT products
In his contribution, Cheikh Dla, sales director Africa, iDirect, explained that iDirect’s product lines integrate a wide variety of hardware, software and services seamlessly into a complete satellite communications platform. iDirect’s hardware include powerful universal satellite hubs and versatile routers to meet all requirements for scalability and durability; a comprehensive range of applications-specific products such as network accelerators and optimizers that enhance network performance.
He said that the TD partnership would offer products for the ground infrastructure required to shatter the myth surrounding the Internet.
It will enable commercial and social enterprises, military establishments, governments and grassroots organizers to build satellite based networks that yield higher bandwidth efficiency with lower budgets.
It offers, Dla said, solutions for broadband applications that catalyze an efficient and superior bandwidth – better triple solutions Voip, data, video and internet experience throughout Nigeria.
Dla revealed that the choice of TD followed a painstaking effort to find a Distributor in West Africa that had the capacities to deliver the iDirect corporate objectives in the region.
Specifically, TD was chosen for its tradition and depth of warehousing, logistics orientation, innovative marketing, corporate governance and financial muscle.
The iDirect sales director said that his company would continue the TD tradition of ensuring that the trade benefits are evenly spread to all performing resellers.
Latching onto that note, Chimere said that TD has already trained the resellers for the marketing of the iDirect products and expressed satisfaction that the channel remains proactive in terms of acquiring capacities to deliver on the ever growing variety of product lines on the TD stable.
She reaffirmed the TD commitment to presenting to the consumer, at all times, a wide range world-class quality products that protect the consumer’s right to choice.
